ClorAm-X®
Ammonia, Chlorine & Chloramine Remover
ClorAm-X® is a unique, dry powder, water conditioner that has been scientifically formulated to remove, and thereby detoxify, ammonia, chlorine and chloramines from water for use in all types of fish and aquatic invertebrate culture. ClorAm-X® should be used (1) when conditioning new water for aquariums, tanks, ponds, and live-haul containers, (2) after or during water additions, (3) before adding new plants, invertebrates, fishes or amphibians to an existing aquarium, tank, or pond, and (4) to live-haul containers, during transportation of live fishes, amphibians, or aquatic invertebrates, to control and eliminate ammonia in the shipping water.
NOTICE TO MANUFACTURERS & REPACKAGERS:
The use of ClorAm-X® (sodium hydroxymethanesulfonate, sodium formaldehydebisulfite or formaldehyde sodium bisulfite) is protected by U.S. and foreign patents. Manufactures wishing to acquire bulk material, either directly from AquaScience, or from any of our distributors, must be aware that AquaScience actively and aggressively enforces both its patent and trademark rights. Purchases may be permitted under appropriate circumstances and purchases made by manufacturers or repackagers from the secondary market (e.g. our distributors) will be subject to scrutiny to ascertain whether or not applicable patents and/or trademarks are being infringed.
The United States Food & Drug Administration (FDA) has determined that the use of ClorAm-X® in water with fishes and aquatic invertebrates (e.g. lobsters, shrimp, crabs, clams, oysters) intended for human consumption does not fall under FDA jurisdiction. For a copy of the FDA's "letter of determination" please write or fax us.
ClorAm-X® is packaged in both metric and English units sizes: 5 Kg, 10 Kg and 25 Kg and 1 lb, 5 lbs and 10 lbs. All packages are wide-mouth plastic jars, pails or boxes. Click on each size designation above to see pictures of the packaging.
